Wishing you a beautiful Holiday Season and good health, happiness and prosperity in the coming year!

I value  and appreciate all of my client relationships. I look forward to continuing our partnership and helping you achieve your goals in 2010.

I'm offering you a poem to ponder this season and a year-end coaching exercise to help jumpstart your vision for the New year.

Sometimes
by David Whyte

Sometimes
if you move carefully
through the forest

breathing
like the ones
in the old stories

who could cross
a shimmering bed of dry leaves
without a sound,

you come
to a place
whose only task

is to trouble you
with tiny
but frightening requests

conceived out of nowhere
but in this place
beginning to lead everywhere.

Requests to stop what
you are doing right now,
and

to stop what you
are becoming
while you do it,

questions
that can make
or unmake
a life

questions
that have patiently
waited for you,

questions
that have no right
to go away.

What are the questions you are most wanting to explore  this coming year? In what areas of your life?

One of my favorite year-end coaching exercises may help you focus your energy and attention. It's this simple series of questions. I hope you find them helpful.

What accomplishment am I most proud about for 2009?

What habits will I continue doing in 2010?

What habits will I stop doing in 2010?

What habits will I start doing in 2010?

What structure will I need to create in order to make the above actually happen?

All the best to you and your family this holiday season.
