Autumn Cooking Classes Introducing Group Detoxification

Autumn Cooking Classes

I am partnering with Shannon Hughes for a series of cooking classes.

Shannon Hughes, is a chef and restaurant owner and has been cooking professionally and teaching culinary skills for 34 years. She focuses on using organic and seasonal ingredients and creating healthy and aesthetically pleasing cuisine.

We are creating a short series of 2 classes for the first time ever, and it will be limited to 12 people. Each session includes lunch so you'll be tasting the wonderful morsels you learn to prepare.

The classes will be a combination of learning more about an anti-inflammatory diet, ingredients, prep and cooking. This introductory offer will be $120 for both classes, including lunch.

We are looking for a "kitchen donation" for the class in exchange for free participation for one person. The kitchen should be large enough to accommodate 14 people around a middle island for instruction and must have a gas burner stovetop.

We want this class to answer your needs. Let us know what you'd like. Please answer these questions so we know best how to create the offering. If you can't make these dates but are still interested in classes, please answer the questions for us as well.

1) Are you interested in quick, easy meals? What do you consider the appropriate time required for a quick meal?

2) Or, is your interest in more elegant meals for entertaining?

3) Is variety important to you? Being introduced to new ingredients?

4) Or, is eating healthy on a budget most important?

5) Is cooking a few times a week for a whole weeks worth of meals important for you?

6) What would you most like to learn about?

7) If this class schedule doesn't work for you, what would work? half-days, evenings, a full day?

Hope to see you at the class!

The 2-session series:

Saturdays:

Nov 3, 2007
Nov 17, 2007
11:30 AM-1:30 or 2 PM

Limited to 12 people

Introductory offer: $120.00 for the series

Each session includes lunch so you'll be tasting the wonderful morsels you learn to prepare.

I know some of you have requested evening classes but we are starting with the Saturdays and if there is enough interest, we'll follow it with a series of evening classes.
