I highly recommend all of these books. Although I don’t always agree with everything stated in them, and I don’t necessarily recommend the authors as practitioners, I do recommend the books because they do a great job of explaining their material in a factual and compelling manner.

The Power of Now, Eckhart Tolle
Eckhart Tolle's message is simple yet profound: living in the now is the truest path to happiness. His clear writing voice helps raise our awareness of how thoughts and emotions get in the way of genuine peace and happiness. This book is way up at the top of my list and a book I regularly recommend to clients and friends.

All of Perricone’s books are based on the anti-inflammatory diet. He does a great job of explaining the complex topic of inflammation in easy to understand terms.

Although we don’t like diet books, this book is exceptional in the way it connects weight gain and obesity to inflammation. And, it has great recipes that are consistent with our philosophy of a healthy anti-inflammatory diet.

As many of you know, Judy specializes in working with clients with thyroid issues. We think the authors did an excellent job of explaining all the effects on the body a poor functioning thyroid can induce.
